lightly haunted

I never get spooked. I just, never, do. Ten years of hallucinations kind of knock the fear of 'things that go bump in the night' out of you. Nasty movies, bring them on. So, why was I scared last night, watching an utterly dull haunted house tv programme? Maybe it's because I was alone; maybe because I was bored, my mind was unoccupied, I had nothing better to worry about.

Nonetheless, whatever the reason, I crept upstairs and burst into every room, convinced some evilness was hiding there; then huddled under the duvet, pretending that I wasn't listening out for every noise. Bloody Derek Acorah. And no, I don't 'thankyou, Sam' :)
