memories of childhoodPosted by Bella (Leamington Spa, United Kingdom) on 13 June 2007 in Miscellaneous. I guess I was a bit of a tomboy when I was young. It's down to my father. I don't think he knew what to do with a little girl; so he treated me like a litte boy. I had a racing car, toy trucks, Beano comics aplenty, and rides on the back of his motorbike. I guess it was ok, though, as when I went home to be with my mum and sisters, it was oestrogen-central, so I got the best of both worlds. One thing, though. Bloody steam trains. I could have really done without the endless trips to stare at whatever allegedly exciting locomotive might be nearby. You know, I just wanted to go home, watch the Spandau Ballet v. Duran Duran edition of Pop Quiz on BBC1, and admire my nice new green pedal pusher trousers. Those were the days.
