Yes, it's my birthday. Have you sent me a card? Oh, right, it's in the post, I know, that happens to me a lot, too. Bloody Royal Mail. My wish list? Well, a decent (in fact, any) telephoto lens, a string of admirers, and ten years off my age will do. Ah, right, I see, things are a bit tight this year. No problem. I understand. But, you know, I've got a bottle of wine - perhaps you like to pop round and - of course, I know, it's a long way just for one day. No, there'll be other years, don't worry about it. I'll be fine. There's bound to be something on the TV, or maybe I can finish that book I've meant to finish for ages. Yeah, you have a good day too.....
